
The Psychology & Counseling Unit is dedicated to supporting mental, emotional, and psychological well-being. The unit offers professional services to help individuals navigate life challenges, enhance coping strategies, and promote personal growth through evidence-based psychological practices and counseling approaches.
- Individual Counseling
One-on-one confidential sessions to help students deal with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adjustment problems, and more.
Academic & Motivation Counseling - Support for students struggling with low motivation, poor time management, academic difficulties, or adjustment to university life. Crisis Counseling
Immediate psychological first aid and emotional support for students experiencing acute distress, suicidal thoughts, or trauma.
Career Counseling - Assistance in exploring career paths, identifying interests and strengths, preparing resumes, and getting ready for interviews.
- Mental Health Awareness Programs
Talks, workshops, and awareness campaigns such as Mental Health Campaign, Upskill Series, Senergi Counselor , SRH etc - Peer Support Program (Peer’s UniTED Club)
A student-led initiative under the Psychology & Counseling Unit that promotes mental health awareness and peer-to-peer support.
The Peer’s UniTED Club consists of trained student peer counselors and volunteers who organize outreach activities, provide emotional support to peers, and foster a caring campus environment. - Psychological Assessments
Screenings and psychological evaluations (upon request or referral) to identify learning difficulties, emotional concerns, or personality traits. - Referral Services
Coordination with external mental health professionals (e.g. psychiatrists, clinical psychologists) for specialized care when needed.
